Recently, we assisted a Western Australian customer by transitioning from supplying castings only to delivering fully machined components. Initially, the customer sourced machining locally in WA. However, when they placed a second enquiry for the same part, we proposed supplying a fully finished product. They opted for this solution, benefiting from reduced freight costs and faster turnaround times, as the parts arrived ready for immediate installation.
Similarly, we were able to support our long-standing partners at Harwood Sugar Mill with a priority breakdown casting. The casting, supplied by their local machine shop, was delivered ahead of the next harvesting season, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
