Dalby State High Schools ‘Formula Student’ Race Day
This year’s Formula Student Program was a great success for the students of Dalby State High School. Open to pupils in Years 11 & 12, the Formula Student Program is designed to teach students job-ready skills such as communication, teamwork and engineering, through building a racecar from scratch.
A contingent of four racecars built by the students travelled to Lakeside Park Raceway in Brisbane, where students battled it out on the historic circuit to prove whose car was king of the track.
All the hard work by the DSHS students paid off coming away with first place!
Dalby State High Schools Awards Night – Congratulations to:
- Trade Futures 2019 Award winner- Texan Johnston who received a $500 cheque donated by White Industries.
- Dalby State High School 2019 Apprentice of the year- Russien Nisperos our very own school-based Fitter & Turner apprentice.
