Apprentice Spotlight – Gordon Munroe
Gordon made his way to White Industries after holding a variety of positions throughout his career including running his own butcher’s shop and being a meat inspector at Oakey.
Initially starting in the Finishing area at White Industries, Gordon exhibited a great attitude to do a job efficiently and safely. This led to him being offered a position in the Moulding area where he was responsible for the foundry post-cast to shakeout operation. While in this position, he showed a keen interest in the Moulding process and helped out when he could.
Gordon’s role progressed to being fulltime in the Moulding area as he continued to show Tradesman-like qualities. This resulted in him being offered an adult moulding apprenticeship which he eagerly jumped at the opportunity.
We are excited to have Gordon on our team and we’re all looking forward to help Gordon learn his craft. Well done Gordon!
