Cameron Ashmore returns for a visit after 27 years

White Industries is one of the longest running employers in Dalby, with a stable workforce and an enviable record of training for over 55 years. Cameron Ashmore completed his apprenticeship at White Industries in 1989 and stayed on for another two years, before switching careers to be a fireman. Cameron has since worked his way through the Fire Brigade, performing roles including Queensland Fire and Emergency Rescue Spokesman and is currently the Acting Inspector for the Western Downs Region.

During the tour, Craig White asked Cameron tongue-in-cheek if he was applying for the CNC Machinist position currently advertised. It was great to have one of our former apprentice/tradesman return to White Industries for a plant tour after leaving some 27 years ago.
